Pre-Nursery : Alphabet Craft Week

Fritz is currently 25 months

This week, we really had much fun time in doing art and craft. We did lots of ABC crafts as I was lack of ink to print. So I didn't have the print outs material.

Art & Craft
*A - Alligator*
When we made it, he's totally refused doing it. He didn't show any interesting on it. There's something happen with him, maybe he felt unwell or sleepy. He became so cranky when I asked him to make it. I did it by myself with him on my lap.

Preparation:
- Green construction paper
- Black origami
- Yellow construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors

How to make:
1. Make big "A" shape by using green construction paper, size 20 x 25 cm
2. Make 2 big eyes from black origami paper
3. Make 2 teeth from yellow construction paper
4. Paste the teeth on the inside of A-legs
5. Paste the eyes on the outer top side of A

*A - Apple*

Actually these were the A-crafts

Preparation:
- Red construction paper, size 15 x 15 cm
- Green and brown construction paper or origami paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pencil

How to make:
1. Make a lowercase of "A" from the red construction paper
2. Make a leaf from green construction paper
3. Make a branch from the brown construction paper
4. Paste the leaf and branch

it's really easy to make!! ^^

*A - Ants*
He loves painting so much. He wanted to do it eagerly. He made the ant from finger printing and I'd make the rest of it. ^^

Preparation:
- A construction paper 20 x 30 cm
- An "A" print out that had been colored before
- Black paint
- Palette
- Glue
- Scissors
- Marker

How to make:
1. Cut out the letter (adult)
2. Paste the print out on the construction paper
3. Dip the thumb into the paint
4. Make ants on the construction paper
5. Let it dry
6. Draw some parts of ants on the dry paint, add the feet and the antenna
*B - Boat*
"Row row your boat, gently down the stream"

Preparation:
- Blue construction paper, size 15 x 15 cm
- Yellow construction paper
- Glue
- Crayons
- Scissors

How to make it:
1. Cut the blue construction paper into letter B lowercase shape
2. Make two triangles and a boat shape using yellow construction paper
3. Paste the triangles as the flags on the left and right in the top of "b"
4. Paste the boat on the bottom of "b"
5. Color the boat using crayons

*B - Bee*

HE was so cranky being dirty when we did it....-__-"

Preparation:
- Green construction paper, 20 x 30 cm
- Letter B print out, had colored before last time, cut out
- Glue
- Yellow paint
- Palette
- Black marker

How to make:
1. Paste the letter
2. Dip the thumb into the yellow paint
3. Paste it on the whole of the paper
4. Let it dry
5. Make bees with black marker by adding the stripes, wings and an eye

*C - Crab*

Preparation :
- red construction paper
- black origami paper
- glue
- scissors

How to make:
1. Cut the red construction paper into a letter "C" shape, 20 x 25 cm size
2. Make two hands and two small rectangle for eyes with red construction paper
3. Make 2 eyes from origami paper
4. Paste the hands, small rectangles and eyes

*C - Circles*


He was getting use to do the letter craft

Preparation:
- Yellow construction paper, size 15 x 15 cm
- Few colorful of origami paper
- Glue
- Scissors

How to make:
1. Cut the yellow construction paper into a lowercase of letter "c"
2. Cut few colorful origami paper into circles shapes
3. Paste the origami paper to the letter c

*C - Cars*

He's so proud when he's done with it....

Preparation:
- Yellow construction paper, 20 x 30 cm
- Letter C print out, has been colored before
- Cars stickers
- Glue
- Scissors

How to make:
1. cut the print out and paste in the construction paper
2. paste the stickers

Coloring : Mickey Mouse

I've got this from Playhouse Disney Asia website as he LOVES Mickey sooooo much.

When I gave the paper, he was so excited. He scribbled and scribbled the pics with his crayons. Then, he showed proudly to Opa. He also asked me to put it in the board. He wanted to show it off to everyone. -__-'

Learning Toys
*ABC wooden puzzle*
I gave him this puzzle to play. He could recognize some alphabet, such as letter A, F, I, K, O, P, Q. He's able when I asked him to get it. And here some letters he still needed me to help him, such as B, C, D, E, J, L, T, U....

Miscellaneous
*Fried Rice*

He ate this fried rice all by himself. He didn't want me to feed him. He asked the maid to make it for him. He could sit still for almost an hour. He also almost finished it.

*Cars from William and Tiffany*

My students gave me some these cars toys as my birthday presents. When I brought those home, Fritz was so happy. He played again and again with these. He made it in a row and looked at his style when he made it in a row....^^

Fun Time
*Playing with Aretha*



On Saturday, we spent time with one of Mom's "Mommy's on March Club", Mom of Aretha (Ms Thelly) at her home as she bought some things from Mom.

Both of Fritz and Aretha couldn't play along together firstly as it's their first meeting too. They looked awkward each other and Aretha was feeling insecure with her toys as there's someone new was busy with her toys. ^^


Both are very different. Fritz with his calmness and Aretha with her active body. Fritz was very busy playing with the kitchen set (only) while Aretha was busy doing something moving, such as singing, drinking milk from the fridge, sitting on her piggy chair and scribbling with her pen and many more. Fritz was quite happy with the kitchen set only...


After few time, they could play along together. Mommies were busy talking each other about the kids. Then, Aretha finally decided to join with Fritz playing with the kitchen set. Few minutes later, Aretha decided to play with ball and it's time for Fritz to join with her.

It's nice to see these two kids play along together....and I'm so happy that Fritz is able now to easily get into with his new environment.

For me, I think I really need much more time to get Fritz socialize with his age friends.

*Playing with Gabe*

Fritz has new friends again this week. His name is Gabe. He's Aunt Ike's son (Aunty Jiska's sister).

On Sunday afternoon, we went to Aunt Jiska's house to play with Gabe. Gabe was so excited meeting Fritz. However, Fritz was so cranky as he just woke up and Mom straightly asked him to go. He cried a loud for silly things and it made almost all the Aunt Jiska's family member went out. -__-"

After few time, Fritz was able to control his emotion and he's ready to play with Gabe. Luckily, Gabe is a friendly boy. Both were playing together. They really enjoyed their time together. Their giggling were sounding in the entire of the home. Sound so happy!!

In the end, both are saying goodbye and they had recognize their friend's name. Happy a lot!! ^^
