Preschool : Easter

Fritz is currently 36 months 2 weeks

This week was an Easter week. We focused our activities on Easter theme. Though we didn't have outdoor Easter activity such as looking for eggs hidden etc, we still had great time doing some paper related. :P

The paper was taken from www.overthebigmoon.com
The creativity's idea was taken from my Pinterest.

Easter Theme
Day 1

We started the Easter week with dotting the big letter of E for Easter. He chose this activity by himself and he chose to use my Croyola dot marker.

Next, he continued to do "which one's different?" activity. He did 3 paper and he's doing great!

He's doing the tracing after that. His ability in tracing various lines was totally amazed me. He's eager now to do the tracing in the lines and very neatly.

Then he's trying to improve his skills in scissoring based on the lines. Not really bad though he still need my help and guidance.

And the last one was making some puzzles. He's showing great on it. You rock, boy!!

Day 2
For the second day, we started by showing vocabulary cards to him. He's so eager when seeing the picture. It looked so pretty, didn't it?

Then we continued by pegging the correct letter shown. So far, he's good in recognizing the letter. He even knows the sound of the letter. Good job, kid!!

While making it, he's being interrupted by a sales person outside who referring to wash the car. However, he still could finish it well.

And the last one, he did the sequencing. He's still learning the patterns. It's really challenging for him.

Craft

It's been a long time we didn't have any craft time. As it's still in Easter week, I wanna ask Fritz to make an Easter Feet Bunny.

It's very easy to make and less preparation. Here's the lists:
- a paper plate
- 2 wiggle eyes
- a cotton
- 2 colors of construction paper for the ear and feet based
- 2 pipe cleaner, cut into 3 parts each to be the whiskers
- glue tape and scissors
- a black marker for the mouth

How to do:
1. Trace kid's feet on the color construction paper. Cut it.
2. Paste the feet on the plain construction paper, then cut it into Bunny's ear.
3. Put the glue tape in front of the ear.
4. Paste the eyes, nose and whiskers, add the mouth using marker.

Easy to made!!

Practical Life

He's crazy on macaroni this week. He asked few times to have a chance to play with the macaroni. Then, he's very excited transferring the macaroni in his own way. He said he's baking the macaroni. He pretended as a seller. Really creative imagination!!

Gross Motor

This boy is really showing many improvement in biking. Now, he's cycling by himself and leaving me behind. I really need to run to catch him not to go so fast.

I love the moments when I'm able and free to have an afternoon walk with him. He, of course, loves it too!!

The next day, I put some challenging for Fritz when he asked to bike in the carport. Firstly, he just crashed all the boxes. He didn't get into the rules. Few minutes after that, he'd change his mind and tried to do the challenges from me. And...he did very well. I even put one tin again to make it so challenging for him. Yeaaayyyy!!!
